49ers - Brock Purdy - Still and Always #1

I'm not sure I'd say he doesn't deserve it. I think Brock has the better stats but head to head has to matter some.
So one game is all it takes to win the MVP? Brock was in no win situatio. The media brought up different QB every week and Brock finally had a bad game. Why Lamar can have a bad game but not Purdy? He sucked against Steelers and lost the game against Browns. Ravens are winning because of their defense not Lamar.

All true and very unfair. But for this year that's how it's going to be. He had to be perfect this year to get it. They were looking for every excuse in the book to not give it to him. Should he win a Super Bowl and a Super Bowl MVP people will look at him a little different next year. Still some doubters. But less so among potential MVP voters, fans and media.

With Lamar an all but sure lock for MBP:rolleyes:, don’t you think there is less pressure on Brock. Now he can just win the whole d### thing!
Brock was a 247 3 star (87)
Sidenote derailment, Tyrese was a 3 star (89).
Ps. Had Brock gone to the tide...would he have ever seen the field?

No, but that was Brock's chance. Fair or not.

110%.
Horrible performance, tipped balls aside-included. Viewed by a whole lotta people, nationwide - "Experts"- idiots, while Jackson shined.
Done, with this MVP stuff.
Suspect Brock is as well.
How about Jackson throwing pick 6 against Browns? He was horrible. Ravens choked

Then why was Dak ahead of Brock after Cowboys beat Eagles? The national media was looking for an excuse to not give the MVP to Purdy. It was Hurts, Prescott, Hill, McCaffrey, then Jackson. Purdy finally had a bad game against Ravens. Jackson doesn’t have numbers to win the MVP.
Dak **** the bed not long after that. Buffalo was his chance. He missed it. It's just how it goes.

Heard there are 100 voters; former players, coaches and media. Think we need to be rooting for the SB ring; media can't affect that, decided on the field! Go Brock! He also set the franchise record for passing yards and, if he gets there, would only be the 7th second year QB to start a super bowl, pretty awesome for an ISU quarterback!
