Tyrese Haliburton? Ron Bayless? Will Blalock? Curtis Stinson? Royce White? Monte Morris? .... Tamin Lipsey? The reason people are pulling up old Tinsley videos is because he might be one of the greatest ball handlers in basketball history. Not just ISU history.

Gilbert is a very good ball handler. Not even close to the best ever at ISU though. Nothing against Gilbert. I hope he does end up being the greatest ball handler in ISU history. That would be awesome.

Iowa sucks. Compared to the 3 teams we played in Orlando Iowa would have been the worse team. And I'm not saying those teams were good.

This was our best game performance but if we are all slapping our backs over it then we'll be very disappointed in conference. Jump in metrics reflects only that we like to beat up on the weak. Throw in a real team and we wilt.

Iowa is better than VCU and Virginia Tech in Torvik, NET, and KenPom. Go find some different Cheerios to pee in Mr. Grumpypants.

Is BYU for real? #6 in KenPom so far.

I have no idea where we will end up in the conference standings. It's a tough schedule even without the usual auto-loss @ KU. We could realistically start 2-8 or worse in conference play.

Not playing @ KU kind of sucks. It's one of those games where metrics-wise you have nothing to lose. It's never a bad loss no matter how badly you get your doors blown off, and if you win it's a resume-maker.

Texas A&M is a really good team with a good coach. They are picked to to to the Sweet 16 for a reason. Virginia Tech has solid guard play and are most likely a tourney team.

Bottom of the big 12 but middle of the big 10 and since the big 10 is overrated every year they will be a bubble team and probably make the tournament. Tale as old as time
