Same story with these Iowa kids. Beat up on bad opponents, run up score and individual stats, so nothing against good teams.
Pat has score combine 10 points agains ISU, Purdue, and OU yet averaging double figures.
I think we're better with Pav on the floor more. Jones may have more scoringe punch, but Pav is a lot like Lipsey and more often then not makes the right play with the ball. It feels like things just go smoother when he's out there.
He penetrates and always seems to dish to a wide open teammate.
Is it bad that I could not tell the difference between Harding, Dix, and the younger Sandfort?
They did at least mention the Cyclone best point guard in the world who won on ESPN as our game was starting along with the other Cyclone NBA point guards. A few highlights wouldn't have killed them though.
No need to go off on a tangent about NFL QBs, they can just hype the basketball MVP candidate Cyclone.

Because their starters were all gassed, played terrible, and got benched. Fran did his thing where he kind of waved the white flag late in the first half.
Dean Oliver was pretty good and on their most recent sweet 16 team. I hardly could name a legit PG they've had since then.
Yeah Price Sandford getting some run and Omaha not is a bad look. Sandford doesn't even look like a guy who can play in Frans system, then you have the McDonald's All American sitting on the bench in a blow out. Not a good look and not a good feeling for Omaha I'm sure.
Am guessing they both get 4-8 minutes and then continue to not exist come Big 12 play. I think the only real competition for minutes at this point will be CuJo and Pav for 6th man minutes.
He is my favorite McCaffery and least punch able, but he is nothing more than a warm body out there. And he wasn't even that tonight for them.
