Cytown Update

Huh? I think it’s a fantastic plan to have a brand new medical facility for the student athletes right next to where they have study table and their meals. It’s not a flashy bar or restaurant but it’s a great add in my opinion
Use that insurance money kickback to fund our athletic program.

Dreaming of the day where we can get to Cytown and 'tailgate" at bar open for a game like tomorrow against KU!

That place will print money for Kansas home games on national tv

My concern is about the volume of a CyTown bar. Like with Johnny's. How are they going to be able to accommodate the crowds on basketball game days? We may have to crank up the winter tailgates.

Spill out onto the center boulevard thing I suppose? I hope the ends of this district are somewhat enclosed so the wind doesn't whip through it. Otherwise it'll be empty.
Wonder if you'll be be allowed to walk around with alc on gamedays like a Beale street situation or if all drinking is confined to indoors.

I would hope they would have some sort of gate system so that the interior could be a "beer garden." Only those who go to ID stations and get wristbands would be allowed to buy or carry alcohol.

Some of the bars around town better get a shuttle or something running or they might lose a decent amount of their business on bball game days. No?

If we’re not allowed to open carry within the pedestrian part of this thing, they failed.
I was in Indianapolis this past summer for the DCI World Championships at Lucas Oil and found out to host a Super Bowl anymore you have to have an Open Container Allowed within somethingvlike a 2 mile radius from the Stadium. So in Indianapolis the whole Downtown area is open container.
