Cytown Update

2026 at the earliest before we can have a beer in CyTown, right? Or is there any chance we get an annoucement for the brew/pub anchor on the South end, across from McFarland

Some of the bars around town better get a shuttle or something running or they might lose a decent amount of their business on bball game days. No?
Hard to determine as it depends on what times the games are.

I mentioned this in a earlier post, but CYtown needs one of these....

I can help facilitate the introduction.....

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but Phase 1 includes the Medical Clinic, Retail/Office, Suites, and the Restaurant/Brew Pub. Last I knew the projected completion date was August 2025 and they are working ahead of schedule and under budget.

Yes, the scheduled completion date for the first 4 buildings is August 2025. (Clinic, Brew/Pub, CyTown Suites, Retail/Office building)

Jamie was on with Murph & Andy today and talked some about the latest on Cytown:

Interview starts at 3:00 mark and the Cytown part at the 22:05 mark.

Jamie got big mad that people on social media didn't like his idea of honoring Hollywood Higgins.

I love the guy, I think they should name athletics buildings in his honor someday. But he comes across as hypersensitive to whatever the daily social media zeitgeist is, and given how methodical he's been over the years that aspect always surprises me when I see him do it.

That didn't take long.

Nothing mindblowingly impressive on Golden Rods portfolio on their website but news is good news. Still disappointed that McFarland Clinic will be the anchor tenant for this thing (and in the prime spot for football game days....).
