That's kind of my whole point. Football skews things out of proportion and is why I think Title IX is flawed. There ISN'T as sport comparable for women to football.
It has nothing to do with them being less of an athlete, if you can come up with a sport for women that takes that many people to field a team, more power to you.
I'm saying make it if you offer 7 varsity sports for men, you have to offer 7 varsity sports for women.
And you didn't answer my question. Why is it fair not to let men swim? compete in gymnastics? play soccer or tennis? I just think you get much closer to equality if you balanced the number of sports offered, OR balanced scholarships if you exempted football.
It's fair not to let them compete because ISU told them they aren't a priority, football is. Plain and simple: those types of sports aren't important to the admin.
