Freyler not getting 2nd team is a bit surprising.Only ones I'd really argue about is A) Freyler and B) Contreasz (SP), sorry. Im too lazy right now to look it up
The two PKs that were on the first and second team were statistically better. They ranked 1-2 in kicking statistics.Only ones I'd really argue about is A) Freyler and B) Contreasz (SP), sorry. Im too lazy right now to look it up
Nice to see Stevo on there.
Generally speaking, I'd say our defense got screwed with only 2 players on the first two teams.
The way we use the F is always going to put him in position for postseason recognition.Nice to see Stevo on there.
As long as its not Sark, im happyNot going to lie, I'm surprised Gundy got the nod for Coach of the Year. He overachieved for sure, but the UCF loss especially was a head scratcher (for a coach of the year type team). I would have bet Sark would have walked away with it. But CMC and Neal Brown also deserved consideration.
Gundy should have been unanimous. He was on the hot seat coming into the season, and OSU was predicted to finish middle of the conference. Not sure what happened against UCF, but they only lost two conference games and the way they had played between ISU and UCF, they would have easily beat both team the way they were playing. Seemed like after ISU a fire was lit at OSU and they were playing fantastic football. Again, don’t know what the **** happened when they played UCF. Almost like they expected to win just by showing up.Not going to lie, I'm surprised Gundy got the nod for Coach of the Year. IMO, Sark did what he was supposed to. Not worth as much credit as the job Gundy didNot going to lie, I'm surprised Gundy got the nod for Coach of the Year. And they damn near did it again against BYU. Good coaching job to reach that record, but something is off with that team.Gundy should have been unanimous. I would have given COY to Brown (1) or Campbell (2). If your team gets absolutely stomped by South Alabama and UCF you shouldn't win COY in my opinion. Not going to lie, I'm surprised Gundy got the nod for Coach of the Year. Yep. Both Brown and Campbell's teams were left for dead at the beginning of the year and have turned expectations around.I would have given COY to Brown (1) or Campbell (2). If your team gets absolutely stomped by South Alabama and UCF you shouldn't win COY in my opinion.
Can make that same argument for Gundy tbfYep. Both Brown and Campbell's teams were left for dead at the beginning of the year and have turned expectations around.
