Definitely rooting for you!

What would the payout be if everything happened EXCEPT ISU-KSU? We have had control of our own destiny more than once this year and POOF.

$1 would pay $1,939 currently. Probably better off buying a lotto ticket lol.

This is incorrect. All four tied teams have a common opponent (Kansas) so it doesn't make it to SOS. OSU would be in.
Great, so my bet is all for nothing... that'll teach me to skip the fact check.

Actually it won't teach me anything...

This just feels like another game, nothing unusual. We are 9 point dogs, so not expecting a win. If we get 2 or 3 turnovers, play our best, we can win. But I'm more excited that we are bowl eligible, keep practicing through December. That bonds the team hopefully even stronger. Which hopefully leads to more players coming back next year. Farmageddon just seems trivial, now that holding the team together is such a high priority.

Over the years I just got sick of watching Synder's KSU teams beat ISU, including a couple that ISU lost at the end of hard-fought games in Ames. I hope we kick KSU's a** on their home turf. Let's get this monkey off of our back!!! This would bring us to 7 wins for the season. Most of us did not think that was possible at the beginning of the season. Cap that off with a bowl win, and this would provide momentum for a young team into next season.

I'm also just thrilled this team is going bowling, which I think is so key for development/cohesiveness/keeping some of these guys in the program.

I think the key tonight is we have to have a gameplan like BYU - unpredictable, great mix of pass/run, keeping the other team guessing. We will not win this game on delayed handoffs up the middle each and every first down. (we should know that by now)

Nothing to lose type game and Matt kinda thrives off that.

Hopefully KSU sucks as bad as BYU did that night to help out.

I have not seen any threads about K-State yet this week, so I wanted to ask why.

I don't care too much at this point since ISU has clinched a bowl game and doesn't have a chance for the title game.

I think it'd be hilarious if we won, because John Kurtz has nicknamed CMC, "Mr. 7-5," so it'd be funny if we knocked them down a peg by getting to 7-5 by beating the Wildcats.

We're actually due for another 7-5 season based upon history.

CMC's Regular Season Records
  • 2016: 3-9
  • 2017: 7-5
  • 2018: 8-4
  • 2019: 7-5
  • 2020: 8-2
  • 2021: 7-5
  • 2022: 4-8
  • 2023: 6-5 (so far)

CMC did it. 7-5 in all odd years. This is up there with the 2017 season.
