Going to Vegas for first time during the first round of NCAA Tourney. Any suggestions, things I need to see, best gambling, shows, etc. from Vegas vets? First to suggest Carrot Top gets a beating.

I wouldn't recommend getting a baby in Vegas. It's the kind of thing that seems cool at the time, but just like a baby tiger, they get bigger. On second thought, get a baby tiger.

Dualing Piano bar in NY-NY (always a must see on my list)

Yes, and the one in Harrah's isn't that bad either... worth a beer or two or 12!

Buy beer at the Grand Canyon gift shop next to the MGM. Cheapest you will find, carry a six pack of tall boys cousin Eddie style...

They have the best koozies that say - "Stolen from: Mabel's Whorehouse - Whre the customer comes first!" We buy them everytime we go. I think we have like 20. They are the good koozies too.

We loved seeing O and seeing Mama Mia. I would call the ticket offices, the shows are struggling and might give you a deal. We got BOGO (buy one get one) for Mama Mia and had the best seats in the house. But, that was b/c they were having a deal for residents. We know a ton of people who live there.

drinks are expensive no matter where you go for the most part. There are lots of great deals to be had for hotel rooms if you have not booked yet let me know I can help you find something. I was just there 2 weeks ago, and had a $200 a night suite for $50 a night.

I went and saw penn and teller while I was there they were great. If you want to see a show there are places called tickets 4 less that sell half priced tickets to shows the day of the shows, but you have to go stand in line at there place to get them.

I would recommend seeing Penn & Teller, as well. They perform at the Rio. Amazing stuff.

blue man group is awesome!!! but make sure u see everything you always hear about... bellagio water show, we saw the fountain show at the venitian which was pretty f'in sweet! i think the mirage has their volcano back up... id see that to if possible

With the economy the way it is, it is really easy to get tickets to shows. Even when I was there for the UNLV game my shuttle driver said that places were pretty much giving away free tickets to shows just to get butts in the seats. That way they could atleast make some money on concessions and souvenirs.
