I'm currently "suiting up" for the game, and I'm wondering if I might be overdoing it. But, considering my seat is in the nosebleeds, I'll chance it.
Just lucky!Yeah and that's something I 100% get.
The only silver lining is they've likely been around all sorts of people that have/had it and I'm trying to just realize that.
The stupidity of it is of course is I'm about the most 'careful' (not terribly cautious, just don't go out much and don't interact with many people in general) and I'm the one who got it.
Daisy dukes always work for games.I'm currently "suiting up" for the game, and I'm wondering if I might be overdoing it. But, considering my seat is in the nosebleeds, I'll chance it.
Been getting trigger finger in my little finger when I sleep the last couple weeks. It's fine during the day and while working, but I'll wake up with it bent and have to pop it back into place.
I have a 28oz. We use the air nailers whenever we can, but some situations require a hammer. If you shoot nails into a doubled up girder truss made with Douglas Fir, they don't always go all the way in and you have to hammer them flush. Some truss hangers require 16 penny hand nails in them, and then when you're hanging trusses, the spacing blocks require a nail to be set on each end, which we do ahead of time and there's a couple hundred of those. You old school carpentering with big framing hammer or something? That used to happen to me (like a million years ago) after hammering all day with a 22 or 24oz hammer but thought the days like that were over with all of the nail guns.
I hope his case is mild and he recovers fully.Update for anyone who cares (or doesn't): my dad is positive, which doesn't line up for getting it from me in under 24 hours' time.
It's more possible I got it from him when I visited last weekend or something similar.

Is he doing OK? Actually hope all of you are.
You’re probably not old enough, but if so, ask your doc about Paxlovid. Thanks so much. As far as I know he's asymptomatic; best case scenario is he's had it all week and won't have any issues.
They wouldn't have tested if I wasn't positive so at least that prompted them to find out; I had to be super stern with them to call the Dr./hospital to get advice on next steps.
I won't get into it but they're part of the 'it is what it is' crowd and there's a lack of basic information in their area so they really don't know about potential meds, potential issues with being older, getting on top of it with the medical professionals, etc. Fingers crossed.
Another issue is my live in partner is immunocompromised and we've been around each other plenty all week (now isolated). So far negative.

It's just the one finger, not all of them, which is weird. Maybe I'll try splinting it.Woof, 28oz. Way too big for me. Working one winter with no heat on this one house had my hands/fingers all clawed up in the morning. Fortunately the Corps rescued me with a job offer and CWW#1 was pretty adamant I take it.
Still have my 1978 hammers. Vintage now!

They're like cockroachesWe’re in the SEZ having supper and a beer before the game, watching Iowa mess up and what do I see? Yep. Click on the image if you can’t deduce it.
