But also, post Beth-fires-Brian, Fran has to be waking up in a cold sweat every night. No more secret contract extensions while losing to Directional Tech at some pre-season tournament in Scranton.

Size is a concern to a degree but it’s not like he’s 5’8”. 6’0” isn’t ridiculous for a PG. He’s quick but more importantly has incredible instincts. He might take more chances with some of his passes than Iowa fans or Fran will like as Freshman but he’ll be a really strong offensive player long term.
But now he is a Hok and if it is determined that he will be the next AA, then he will be, because, well, he is a hok.
He’s a better shooter than Gesell and has a lot better feel than Mike. His handle and vision are better. Not as physically developed or as good of an athlete.
He’s listed at 162 lbs. With those incredible instincts and quickness it’s no wonder those low majors wanted him so badly.
Certainly will be a test again of Fran’s evaluation skills. All I’m saying is from what I’ve seen it’s more likely he’ll be solid P5 guard than not. You think he’ll stink, I guess we’ll see.
