The holiday Reeses are the best Reeses because they have a higher peanut butter to chocolate ratio.

For some reason the chocolate on the shaped holiday PB cups seems more greasy than the cups in the paper. I prefer the original, but regardless of the shapes or the cups they are best frozen.

Might lend itself offseason tournament bracket like we did for TV shows/movies . (Wouldn't have to be Halloween-specific - candy is candy!)

Confirm the special shapes have less chocolate. GF is not big on sweets but loves peanut butter and strongly prefers the pumpkins, trees, eggs, et al.

There's a packaged version. But the ones I remember fondly were homemade by grandma. Basically take several cans of cherry frosting, mix it with several pounds of powdered sugar until it makes a sticky but "rollable" texture. Then make balls out of it and dip it in a mix of melted chocolate chips and butterscotch chips (like 3 to 1 chocolate iirc).

They are best frozen. Though they don't really freeze because of the high sugar content. The packaged version has chopped peanuts in it too I think, tho grandma never put them in.

Funny you say that. One of our kids got one at a school trick or treat tonight. My wife mauled him for it. It’s a good candy. I had no idea she had it in her.

All the Starbursts that come into the house are mine, that's the rule.

My 5 yr old believed those weren't safe for him to eat until a good way past when it was OK. He started questioning if skittles were really "pills".
