***2023 Ryder Cup***

We are soft. The biggest stress our golfers have had in the last two years is whether to take a lump sum payment from LIV or stay on the PGA tour which has increased purses by 50%??? Maybe they recover, but we haven't won on their soil since '93.

Ha! Go Europe!

(I really don’t care that much. But sometimes I feel sorry for other countries in athletic events we dominate. It doesn’t really apply in the Ryder cup, but those Europeans are fun)

They ain’t recovering. This thing is over.

That said…I might go out some $ on the comeback. US is +600 at the moment.

I love the Ryder cup - if you're not hitting it close, bombing in 30 footers, or chipping in....you get your a$$ beat.

That's golf, and you gotta be ready for it.

USA just not quite tough enough to learn how to win on the road (because they only get to experience it 1x every 2 years!)

Fun to watch ZJ get stuffed in a locker where he belongs. What a smarmy, uninspiring little man in way over his head.

Good thing he cut off all that media access so no one was tight for Day 1. What a dweeb. Get all of the old boys club out of there. I watched the opening ceremony last night and the difference in charisma between the two captains and their assistant captains could not have been wider and you could visibly see a difference in those two teams. That's all not to mention about half the US team has the intestinal fortitude of a 5 year old and their idea of crisis is the opportunity to only make about 15 million a year playing golf for a living. McGinley poo-pooing the idea of walking a difficult course this week was a pretty good sign of mindset as one team worries about hard walking like it's the Moab 240 while the other is focused on kicking ass.

It's been brutal watching, but listening to "Zing" might have me drinking before breakfast. He can't mask his negativity.

I'm no Zinger fan at all but he deserves to stomp on some graves here. The way he's been treated by the PGAA and others after being the guy to end that previous streak has been complete and total ********. They'd rather keep the good old boy network of dipshits like Davis Love than win the thing in Europe. I like Fred Couples but the guy doesn't belong anywhere where thinking is a necessity.

In fairness, the one guy who’s playing somewhat competent golf is Justin Thomas, and he is the only guy who people questioned.

When you're getting beat like this doesn't have much to do with captains picks. It has to do with piss poor leadership and organization, not to mention commitment.

Oh…I agree. Was just responding to a post that seemed to blame personnel on this disaster.

The one guy who is playing that got beat up for even being on the team is possibly the only bright spot right now. Clark has been OK. Other than that…everyone else is getting pummeled.
