So how hurt is the Iowa QB? Any word? Our biggest problem with quarterbacks are the scrambling QB's. If he is immobile that would help a ton

Kirk said in the press conference today that QB sneaks and bootlegs are off the table right now for their QB.

I do not believe him.

Just going through social media, their fans don't seem too confident he'll be very mobile. I just watched the extended highlights and he couldn't move that well.

ISU is going to come after McNamara early and often. Didn’t watch the Iowa game but heard he didn’t look close to 100%.
The key to beating Iowa has been the same for 10 years. On 3rd and more than 5 blitz the QB and have the safety jump the TE route. 80% of the time when Iowa needs to throw a short pass they are going to the TE. Just maddening how often they get away with it. Granted they have always had good TEs, but when they go that way every time, teams should see it coming.

That is mostly the byproduct of the Big 12 round robin schedule and not missing the top teams on some years. That is going to change a lot next year I have a feeling.
That's true but you were talking about past games (schedules), not future schedules.

Until we learn not to:
● Shoot ourselves in the foot
● Be our own worse enemy
● Fumble inside our own 5 yard line
● Get multiple punts blocked in a game
● Have more turnovers than they have
...only then will I feel good about our.
chances to win this game.
.
...and yes, I know we won last year. Let's make it 2 in a row.
You forgot about jumping offsides first and goal inside the 8. I swear ISU has done that 50 times in the last decade.

But also the fact that ISU's SOS schedule advantage had very little to do with the Non-conference schedules of both teams, which is what we were talking about. While ISU probably got a little more boost for playing Iowa than Iowa did playing ISU, their SOS advantage was almost entirely because of the round robin schedule in the Big 12.
