There’s a theme hidden somewhere in this top 10 list. Can’t quite put my finger on it.
People on here need to be prepared for Iowa to be in the Top 10 and CCG simply because of their schedule. I fully expect them then to get their ass kicked like always.
Is the theme that playing Iowa helps ISU's strength of schedule and playing ISU hurts Iowa's strength of schedule?
The absolute lowest # of games I see them winning is 8, and that's only if Fickell and Rhule gets things going on year 1, and I'm not assuming Iowa is any different than last year.
The message is that the Sukeyes are the luckiest low scum FB team in the country. Actually, the whole university athletic program is .. they hang their laurels on the history of the big 10….. when actually that conference is really pathetic outside of
Ohio st, UofM , Penn st. Sickening
Considering NU and UI are both on that list AND playing each other … that’s the theme.
I want to hate Hassel for being a hawk fan, but he amuses me. He's been outside the iowa circle jerk long enough to have a more accurate idea of where they stand nationally. And he seems to enjoy needling the local media for being stupid. I have to give him props for that.
And four B12 teams in the top 10 toughest.
Iowa has the B1G Championship game appearance basically wrapped up. Even if they lose in Madison, I think Wisky will lose too many other conference games.... they play tOSU for one.
Yeah, I don't have that much of an issue with Hassel at all. I love listening to him and CW on their Iowa Everywhere podcast. Outside of being an ISU fan, I agree with Hassel over CW on most things non rivalry related. Those two are pretty funny together though.
And I agree that Hassel, once he got away from the state, now realizes just how much the rest of the country don't care about Iowa or ISU... we're insignificant for the most part. So now he just tries to get under the skin of ISU fans.... and Iowa fans too sometimes!

Everyone in the nation knows Iowa's schedule is extremely easy. The big question is: Does anyone in Iowa City know it?
