Not attempting to use anything against you. You just come off as someone with a lot of free time. So either you didn't have children or you are retired.Yes. And 16 grandkids. No great grandchildren...yet.
How do you choose to use that against me? This should be good...
You are correct, my mistake and apologies on that. I am asking about post 124 where you mention your kids screwing with seat backs.I haven't edited a single post I have made in this thread...
I'm retired. Have been for almost six years. So yeah. We travel and we hang around here. Some days the house is already clean, the dishes are done, , the critters are fed, and I just feel like kicking back & surfing. Plus, we have roofers running around above us so we're staying home. Not attempting to use anything against you. You just come off as someone with a lot of free time. I had a seat against the bulkhead once that didn't recline. Luckily it was only Orlando to Des Moines, but still a kind of a miserable experience.Recently had a flight from London to Charlotte where I had the back row of a section before a bulkhead, and along with the whole row to myself. You bet I reclined for the whole 8.5 hour flight and didn't have to worry about intruding on anyone! As far as economy seats go on long haul flights, can't go wrong with that situation.
One of those people is next to you, the other is in front of you. Unless you're saying the latter keeps turning around trying to talk to youI'd say not even ask, just give a heads up. Reclining is more acceptable than trying to talk to me the entire flight even though I put my headphones on the second I sit down.
Passengers being this upset about the reclined seats has me really worried about a potential trip in November with my family. We will have almost 3 year old boy (who is a handful) and six month old by that time. I'm sure I'll get plenty of negative parental judgement on the flights.
You may, you may not. The baby will probably cry on takeoff & landing. If you can time a feeding to takeoff, the swallowing really helps their ears to pop, and it's less painful for them.Passengers being this upset about the reclined seats has me really worried about a potential trip in November with my family. ALarson will be sitting directly behind you. Should be a relaxing flight for all....Flying to Washington state Monday and am looking forward to reclining and relaxing!!

You recliners are scum of the earth, might be one of the most selfish things you can do. I do not feel bad if my kids screw with the back seat of someone who reclines.
How do they screw with the seats then? If they are under 10, does it actually affect them if the seat is reclined infront of them. If there are 4 of you, would it be easier to swap seats with a family member who didn’t have a seat reclined in front of them? Seems like you have several options here.

Screw with the back of the seats doesn’t mean they are kicking. The slam cards down on the trays when they get excited.-Hey @BCClone - he's right, he didn't edit the post you mentioned. He probably just forgot what he said in it.
...which is just as bad as incessant kicking for someone with a bad back,Screw with the back of the seats doesn’t mean they are kicking. The slam cards down on the trays when they get excited.
Thanks for the pep talk Rock, apparently my retirement day needs to be pushed back a couple of years because now I need to buy my family comfort plus seating on flights to avoid people reclining their seats back onto my knees.I'm retired. Keep working hard, and maybe someday you will be able to relax and enjoy what you want to do, when you want to do it.
