Realignment Megathread (All The Moves)

Here's a teaser:

Is this not just further speculation though?

Really nothing substantial here over the last few weeks other than:
1. We got confirmation that Colorado has had talks with the Big 12 over a span of several months.
2. And that Arizona has inquired with the ABOR (and essentially been approved) as to whether they can leave the PAC-12 without ASU.

Your just mad that young people today are dumber than the previous generations.

Seriously, Why do we teach anything in school if none of it is important. Why do we teach History, its old and its history.

who needs maths and english, we gots computers now to do everything. who needs clocks we just ask siri. Who needs to know how to read a letter from your Grandma, shes old and has nothing important to say.

Right.

I mean, sorry we are not all 15 living in our moms basement like you. (or at least how you act)
Nonsense.

Could honestly use a "discussion" thread and an "actual news" thread where only actual reported news is allowed to be posted. The signal to noise ratio in a massive thread like this is miniscule.
The actual news thread would be off the front page and pretty sparse..

Co recruited Cali hard when they were in the big XII. It’s what they do. It’s also what will keep holding them in the PAC if they stay.
The Buffs have always recruited California and Texas hard. Naturally, when they were in the Big12 the lean was more toward Texas recruiting. Feel like CU moved to the Pac because west coast culture was more inline with Boulder campus vibe vs. historical Big8 campus towns. But that is changing some with the 4 recent adds.

Go forward, their recruiting emphasis will probably depend on the head coach. With Deon I would say Texas would be #1 with Florida & Cal also getting a lot of attention. Not all that different than most schools.

The whole Colorado is a better west coast fit was nothing more than media garbage. Their time in the PAC has shown that to 100% not be the case.

My guess is the Pac ends up looking a lot like the mountain west. With Oregon State and Washington state leading the way for them. After everyone bails.

That's kind of what I'm thinking. They'll become a hybrid P5/G5 conference. Could be decent but nothing earth shattering.

Oregon St.
Washington St.
Cal
Stanford
UNLV
San Diego St.
Fresno St.
Boise St

Maybe throw in SMU/Uteph/New Mexico/Utah St/Hawaii ect ect

Something along those lines

Cal and Stanford would join the Big 12 before that conference 100% of the time.

That being said, they will join neither and most likely go indy.
