After a weekend of outdoor projects sitting on the deck on a beautiful night listening to SRV'S 1989's In Step
I strongly suggest you check out the little known (and I believe last studio recording) Life By The Drop.
Frickin’ love that tune!!!!

Pretty commonly know fact I feel, but the singer or guitarist for the Fabulous Thunderbirds is the older brother is SRV.I strongly suggest you check out the little known (and I believe last studio recording) Life By The Drop.

I just found out about these guys. They are insanely similar to Deftones, but dissimilar enough to feel like you're listening to a cheap knockoff.
On my second time through it. I like the sound. Typical Foos, which is good for me. Lots of lyrics about Taylor, which is understandable, but maybe a little too much. 'Rest' made me recoil a bit, knowing that Taylor really didn't want to tour so much but Dave pushed him. At least that's what I read after his death.Anyone listen to the new Foo Fighters album yet? Thoughts?
Solid. When you consider their age/longevity it’s pretty impressive. “Under You” is top shelf Dave Grohl.Anyone listen to the new Foo Fighters album yet? Thoughts?
Yeah, I had read that too and definitely thought "Rest" came off like a pretty naked apology. On my second time through it. I like the sound. Typical Foos, which is good for me. First run through, complete. I feel similar to you. Although, knowing what we know about Grohl, the dude will probably be still be making records from the nursing home.Solid. When you consider their age/longevity it’s pretty impressive. “Under You” is top shelf Dave Grohl.
I kinda hope this is their last album. It just feels final, or something like that. Go out on a high note and all that jazz.
