Have a bottle of EC barrel proof. Haven’t had it much. Drinking banana moonshine tonight.
Similarly, I'm all in on peanut butter whiskey. Haven't yet found one I don't like.

Confirmation bias is so thick. "I have paid for this,....it is the best".
How about "I have been interested in (fill in the blank) for years. I have had the opportunity to taste dozens of products. These are a few that I recommend".
In the late 80's, we had an opportunity to participate in a wine tasting seminar. The California Napa's from the early 80's were exploding in the world scene. Learning is so much better than buying.

Generally I agree in regards to learning how to taste/drink wine, whiskey or coffee and then being able to identify the different tasting notes is what I enjoy the most.
Nice glass. I have a few of those myself. RIP. It was never quite the same after Nate & Benji sold it.
Yeah it used to be one of our regular stops when we were in town. They made a great old fashioned.
What my regular drinker is.
Lately I’ve been drinking shine. Whiskey that isn’t aged long enough.
Never been much of a fan. But I did have a blackberry Old Fashioned at a distillery in Wisconsin that is one of the best sips I've ever had, of anything.

This was the selection of 50% ABV (100 proofers) that I brought out for the boys on Friday, to celebrate my 50th on Monday. Was a gorgeous night for some patio sippin'.
