Thank you, I appreciate it.Lordy, you have some off-the-wall posts late night posts lately. And then people actually respond, which just encourages you. Sigh. I did not have whiskey (or whisky) and now am jealous.
I doubt if anyone borrowed them.Just open a 200 yr anniversary edition of Jim Beam. Had it since 96.
Not too shabby - have 4 more (unless family borrowed them from lake cabin basement!)
Will find out in a couple weeks.
I tried to DM you but I am restricted. Please DM me, I am extremely interested and appreciative of your information. I travel to Chicago 2 or 3x a yr for work.If you are ever in the Chicago area, i live in Schaumburg and can get it for a reasonable price in most of the big box liquor stores here. armanetis always has most of their offerings. And it’s not even on the top shelf.
I've heard the 2023 version of Michter’s 10yr Bourbon is fantastic!I would love find an affordable 10yr michter’s some day.
My current bar display is of these four bottles (picture file size is too large to upload) that I rotate every 4 months or so. I’ll soon update with the stave display of Blanton’s toppers.
Will report back. I was honestly hoping for the 17yr, but traded a sample of Stagg Jr store pick single barrel for the OF11 and KC18 instead.Be interested to hear thoughts on tasting notes for the Old Fitz 11 year. The 19 year is too oaky for my liking, the 17 year is just fantastic but haven't had the 11.
Yo, is that a snake in the bottom?

Where did you find it? No matter where or when I go around town I just can't locate it anymore. Similar with Eagle Rare, fortunately I have a 1.75 of Weller to keep me moving!Big win for me yesterday was buying a bottle of Blanton’s and getting the letter B, resulting in me having all the letters finally. (Extra special b/c it was the annual KS Select Single Barrel)
****. For that price it better be!I've heard the 2023 version of Michter’s 10yr Bourbon is fantastic!
Wtf. Hell no. That ****'ll have some demonic spirit inside. I'd rather drink gay bud light.I did a little research about the snake in the bottle. This is crazy!

Thanks for the info. I'm in KC area so will have to try to find similar pages down this way.Brand Finder | Iowa Alcoholic Beverages Division
Find liquor brands delivered to Iowa Class “E” licensees in the last 14 days.abd.iowa.gov
If you search for it there, the state lists all recent deliveries of every bottle (not seeing it on my phone, but desktop version includes exact date each delivery was made).
That doesn't necessarily mean the store will have them - went to a Casey's that got a delivery the day prior, and the store clerk straight up told me his son came in and bought all 6 an hour after they arrived.. gee, thanks. Other stores will hold them to save for future raffles. Kind of fun to hunt, but wish they were at least a LITTLE more findable.
My BIL found a couple at a CR gas station, but we had to pay $90/each for them. Got one just to have it, but wouldn't pay over $70 next time.
Another thing that happens, is that the product is basically appropriated to their loyal customers. Some never see the shelf and certain customers are given first shot (at least at some liquor stores, Casey's probably doesn't care). Guessing the clerks son is trying to scalp several of the bottles to get himself a free one. I don't drink enough to be a loyal customer of a liquor store.Brand Finder | Iowa Alcoholic Beverages Division
