Takeaways from the spring game

I’ll second this. The security on the south entrance was very rude. Got into a verbal argument with my dad to shake out his blanket.
I just held my blanket up and held it from the top still folded a few times. The wife had a big bag and they just asked if it was blankets and patted it down (wasn’t clear) on the south. If this was a game, the bag wouldn’t be allowed and I would still have had to hold the blanket that way.

Is it rude for security to check blankets? From what I’ve heard and seen over the years, seems like a pretty good idea. It may be a hassle, but not be rude.

Was there something about security that was particularly rude? I observed that security on the south entrance, seem to have an attitude, but in actuality, what they were checking, was probably a lot less than what they do, than just about every other event where they work.

One last “takeaway” that I have is that we’ll see another genesis shortly.

In other words, Spring ball is over now, and any other players (beyond Howard Brown) who aren’t happy with their place on the depth chart—and don’t want to wait another year—will be entering the Portal shortly.

Not even going to remotely speculate as to whom that might entail.

Did I hear Campbell say that we have only three or four positions that are determined now? If so, who are they?

I think it is a good thing if a couple OL's and WR's lose a job to a up and coming player. That stuff has to happen if you want to upgrade a position room.
