WBB: General All-NCAA Thread - Not Team Cyclones Stuff

I’m a pretty big Iowa hater, but that officiating was highly suspect. Knocking Czinano out early with two weak calls hurt Iowa and they couldn’t recover. Credit LSU for making shots though too.

Yeah LSU shot lights out. Just wish the game had been less about the refs.

Though it is pretty nice to see Iowa go through what ISU regularly experiences :p

Edit: lol at ESPN headline of "lsu upsets Iowa". I didn't check the lines, but there's no way Iowa was favored in that game, were they? I mean yeah they were a 2 seed but LSU was a fairly ridiculously underseeded 3.

I believe pregame Iowa was favored by like 3 or 3.5.

The T explained. People are complaining that how can this be a delay of game for a dead ball, but read the second part. She needed to give to the nearest official. Nit-picking but that is the reason.

Isn't a delay of game T a class B and therefore not a personal??

I thought they said on the broadcast that the ref told them it was for language as well. But it has to be a culmination foul. She was complaining about every call.

The fact that someone enlisted the pool reporter to ask this question is ******* ridiculous.

I don’t disagree she probably had one coming but I think alot of the frustration lies in the fact I believe at one point Mulkey was allowed to sacrifice a live goat at mid-court without being called for anything.

Coaches have always been afforded more latitude than players when arguing calls. It's been an accepted part of the game, right or wrong.
