Once Gregg Marshall's drunk wife stopped going to games, I have no interest in watching WSU.2 of those jobs are better than Wichita State. With how lifeless AAC basketball is almost feel like WSU really just aint that interesting of a job anymore

Did I read McDermott could go to Notre Dame or did I dream that.

The MVC with Belmont and Murray is better long term than the new AAC especially if Memphis finds a way out.WSU's step-up to AAC may not be the boon that was expected.
Or maybe it will be a 50-50 tradeoff with AAC's defections to Big 12 ... but at best, it's just a "new MVC" situation.

Anywhere that would take them, honestly. I would imagine they're hoping the PAC blows up enough that they end up part of whatever that new group becomes.Where would memphis go?
I could see him at ND actuallyProvidence has an opening and he's a NE guy.
He signed a “long term” extension last spring (no details released), and I’m not sure being 2nd fiddle to football at ND is a better gig than being the man at Creighton.I've seen him on speculative successor lists since Brey's announcement, if that counts for anything.

That would be a reasonable fit to be honest.Providence has an opening and he's a NE guy.
Mark Turgeon would make 100% sense.
I may or may not be Goodmans source
Seems like a prime candidate to refill the ACC if they blow up sooner than expectedWhere would memphis go?
That makes sense for Iona, as IMO the guy has shown he can flat out coach; not just because he beat a #1 seed, but he has a great record at the Division II level as well.
I can't help but feel a bit bad for FDU. They make huge waves nationally and then see their coach go off to brighter and better pastures. Such is life for the low-major schools in Division I basketball I suppose.
That and we all appreciate making McDoormat jokes, but don't you think Greg also learned a lot from his experience at Iowa State? He has a great great gig at Creighton where his style of play works with the style of players that come to Creighton. He left for an upgrade once- it didnt work out at all. I would be really surprised if McDermott elected to leave Creighton by his wish.He signed a “long term” extension last spring (no details released), and I’m not sure being 2nd fiddle to football at ND is a better gig than being the man at Creighton.
