Williams had a great year and Swift wasn’t healthy all year after getting injured in week 2, but he was averaging over 9 yards per carry before injury and was the every down back. He’ll be back as the number 1 next year with Williams taking the short yardage/goaline carries. I’m just not seeing playing time for him unless someone gets injured.
Williams is very unlikely to be back. He's a free agent, and it doesn't seem likely that the Lions would re-sign him now that Montgomery is with the team. So, Montgomery could end up getting Jamaal's touches, which would be a very good opportunity.

His 2 best seasons, by a stretch, are the past 2. He's a big sign for whoever gets him.
I think David should have gotten a couple more per year but RBs are saturated in the NFL. Lazard's deal seems really solid and he's going to a team that can compete tomorrow if they get Rodgers.
