I heard a GD shoutI heard the woman behind the bench screaming "You f***ing suck! You f***ing suck!", but I couldn't make out what she screamed after that. Any audio experts out there who can isolate her from the crowd and transcribe the whole thing?
And yet Connor has the fewest number of assists listed. Is this like winning the batting title after you get called up and go 2 for 4 in the final game of the season?
That game is going to be very interesting. Wisconsin needs to win to keep any hope of getting in.A loss at Wisconsin would put them there... Iowa fell 6 spots after last night and they are now 42 in NET.
Richmond sucked. They got freaking annihilated by Providence. And not like, it was just one of those days. It was one of those matchups where they could play 10 times and Richmond would never have a prayer against Providence. Just so thoroughly overmatched. They also claimed that they got a raw deal by being matched up against Richmond in last year's NCAA tournament. Richmond finished 6th in the Atlantic 10 conference, but still managed to send Iowa home before half of the tournament teams even played their first game.

And the previous year the fact that Iowa didn't belong on the same court as Oregon must have meant the Ducks were criminally underseeded... Until they got completely destroyed by USC...which must've meant Oregon AND USC were criminally underseeded... Until USC got destroyed by Gonzaga, who got smoked by Baylor.
And the COVID year per the final NET they woud've been a 9 seed. The COVID cancelled tournament was the best thing that happened to the Hawks. One more year to avoid getting bounced in the first weekend.
Eventually they will get to the second weekend. The law averages says when you get that many whacks at the pinata with an at-large P6 team you have to at least fall ass backwards into a Sweet 16, don't you?
That sounds like her. I've sat near her at Wells Fargo in the past.
i cant believe a bigger deal isn't being made of this. it was beyond embarrassing. fran has apparently lowered the bar for behavior so much, that short of assaulting someone, the hawk AD seems to fully condone it.I still can't get over this.
Fran gets the gate.
Mrs Fran is most likely dropping F bombs all over the place and radio and is shown the gate.
PMac is halfway to being shown the gate.
CMac is retweeting ref complaints.
And this was the game flow. I mean cmon:

Obviously Iowa doesn't play D and can't stay in front of quick guards. That's the primary problem when they play good teams or in the Tournament. Another thing that's becoming clear, though, is that teams that are just committed to stopping Iowa's transition game have a great shot against them. This pushing it up the floor every time even on a made basket is sort of a gimmicky thing these days. It can work great against teams that aren't very good or are unmotivated. It just doesn't fly in big important games against formidable opponents.Richmond sucked. They got freaking annihilated by Providence. And not like, it was just one of those days. Yeah, that's the same voice:
Correct, they still have 7 Q1 wins. I think they’d have to lose out to not make the tourney.
The replies are hilarious lol. Random SEC writer gets ratio’d by Iowa fans after talking bad about their leaders.
Iowa will make the Tournament. Indiana, Iowa State, and @Rutgers are enough to get them in. College Basketball seems to be down overall. Probably because the high major teams have just had so little continuity recently thanks to the Portal and NIL. Its too bad because I think Drake is better than Iowa, but they'll get left out if the don't win the MO Valley tournament.Correct, they still have 7 Q1 wins. When you play your conference games on Sundays, nobody is watching. But you're right, this is something I'd think the media would be all over.i cant believe a bigger deal isn't being made of this. it was beyond embarrassing. fran has apparently has lowered the bar for behavior so much, that short of assaulting someone, the hawk AD seems to fully condone it.
good thing for barta that games like this get hidden on the Big 10 network and arent ESPN broadcasts.
Seems very Fran Fade like...
