There are multiple layers to this:
A) Would you blame them? When you act like a total lunatic I don't think it's out of line to have a quick hook.
B) I'd challenge JBo to show me once instance where Fran received a technical that wasn't deserved.
C) Can you imagine if this were the precedent? Certain refs shouldn't be assigned to certain games because they don't like the coach. Ok-- so just piss off every bad ref in the league?
JBo ranting about things being rigged shows the mental weakness of that program and shows why they haven't accomplished ****. They follow their coach's lead on making everything the fault of everyone else. No wonder the melt away at the first sign of pressure.

So Iowa only wants to play with non-Wilson basketballs, don't want to play in arenas that double as hockey rinks, don't want to travel very far in the NCAA tournaments after playing in the B10 tournament and NOW they want to dictate who refs their games?
Lucky Michigan guy fouled a 3 point shooter up 4 with 20-ish seconds left. That loss would probably have them near the wrong end of the bubble.

It looks like, as an amateur lip reader, PMac is being truthful in that all he said was "That is so bad" to the referee. But you can't demonstrably talk/yell during the act of a free throw to mess with the opponent...
They also claimed that they got a raw deal by being matched up against Richmond in last year's NCAA tournament. Richmond finished 6th in the Atlantic 10 conference, but still managed to send Iowa home before half of the tournament teams even played their first game.

A loss at Wisconsin would put them there... Iowa fell 6 spots after last night and they are now 42 in NET.
That sounds like her. I've sat near her at Wells Fargo in the past.
I heard the woman behind the bench screaming "You f***ing suck! You f***ing suck!", but I couldn't make out what she screamed after that. Any audio experts out there who can isolate her from the crowd and transcribe the whole thing?
