See he had mini pump fake (in the pocket) on that first throw... curious if his pump fake mid field 5 yards past the line of scrimmage is going to work in the NFL or if hes just going to get blown up on it.
I remember going to the game in Morgantown in 2021 and shouted "Big C*ck Brock" and WVU fans were smh'ing at me. Look who's laughing now.
He tried in the pre-season. Twice on the same play actually. It worked well the first time. Not so much the second.

First Thursday night game I can remember caring about.
He had the equivalent of a perfect game - and it was his only true game. He's bound to have struggles and/or come down to earth - and that same media won't be as nice. I truly hope he continues to have great success, but am also concerned for if there's a big bump in the road tonight.
Sports media is the worst. Wait, political media is the worst. Wait, they're tied.
Tonight's game is a perfect opportunity to lean heavily on CMC and the running game. Seattle is not good against the run and could have a lot of success running the ball.
They just dish out what we're eating. It's people that suck.

Agreed. 49ers running game will be in full effect tonight and Purdy will just have to manage the game. Though I bet he does take a few shots down the field.

Thankfully there is no footage of any boneheaded plays he made in Ames that will get posted the moment something like that happens.
He's a rookie QB and young quarterbacks throw a lot of picks. There are going to be some bad interceptions and with Brock, they will probably be spectacular The good thing is that the defense is good enough to help him out. Even though the team might say they have a lot of confidence in Purdy, they know they have to be ready to pick up the slack.
Calling my shot. Niners by 10. Brock looks cool as a cucumber and unrattled. Only one TO. His legend tomorrow across the country will hit the moon.
