Iowa Football Recruiting

I'd say future top 5 pick CJ stroud with their plethora of weapons, Aidan O'Connell from Purdue with Charlie Jones and then there's admittedly a big drop-off. Probably JJ McCarthy who's solid but nothing great. They have quite a few solid guys around him
Wasn't the top OSU WR out for the Iowa game? We were told my all you Iowa fans that Charlie Jones left because he was the 5th best WR at Iowa and wouldn't see the field. So, according to that, Purdue doesn't have any decent receivers and that means your Dbacks haven't seen any good conference receivers outside of OSU.

I'd like to see some links to this Charlie Jones nonsense BC, I think 95 percent of Iowa fans knew we lost a player. Ohio State has about 5 good WR's

Who in B10 W would ISU beat based on the ways we find to lose.
I think Iowa and ISU are similar teams this year and neither are very good. Iowa has found a way to win some games and ISU has found a way to lose some games. That is the difference this year.

I don't think there are any teams in the Big 12 this year that would blow Iowa out of the water like OSU and Michigan did. I think every game would be close and thus hard to say what Iowa's record would be in that scenario.

I think ISU would have beaten Rutgers and NW and got blown out by OSU and Michigan. I think the rest of the games against the West would all be close and hard to say again whether they would win or lose those games.

I've always wondered what the big deal was with Moss... I feel like he's pretty overrated. He sure likes to run his mouth a lot though. Cocky SOB.

Watching Iowa has been the epitome of brutality this season. They do so little right, like Iowa State, but have a much better record. Still coming down mostly to a ridiculous turnover margin and better special teams play. Hard to look at the two programs and not come away thinking one program has all the luck in the world while one is incredibly snake bit
Sometimes you make your own luck. Hawks show that having an elite defense & special teams can make up for a really bad offense.

A big difference between Iowa and ISU's defense is a pass rush that forces interceptions.
