They haven't said yet. We'll know yet today as rosters have to be down to 53.

If they keep 3 qbs on the roster, I think his odds are good to be the 3rd QB with Jimmy G staying. But they may not keep 3

The good news is he can run the same stuff as the starter, or at least closer than Jimmy.

The only remaining issue is that he could still be cut in the next few days. The 49ers have Ward on the injured exception rule list, and in order to put him on IR they will need to release someone else on their current 53 man roster.

So happy for Brock. Through the highs and lows he remained the same guy and was an awesome ambassador for us. Couldn’t have asked for a more level headed QB the last 4 years.
