I find him obnoxious. I appreciate his passion but he's annoying imo. His daily radio show is unlistenable to me. Luckily it's during the day so I rarely catch it.

That’s what it’s like when I listen to Hawaii football games. I can never tell what’s going on because they’re whooping and screaming like it’s the biggest play in ncaa history just to find out is was a three yard outlet pass. I hope cyclones realize how lucky we’ve got it.

Yes. We are spoiled with John W. and Eric H!

Then with my nfl team, there is Mitch Holthus (KC Chiefs). Not much better than that combination.
 
Walters is good for play by play but I wish he'd mention/update the score/time more often.

You can't just check in on the game or in basketball after a few possessions it's easy to lose track of what the score is.

That was the thing with Pete Taylor (yeah I'm old) you could turn on the game and within about 3 sentences you could just tell if we were in it or not especially if it was in the 2nd half. JW does a great job but I'll always have a soft spot in my heart for Pete lots of games listened to him call when there weren't a lot of options.

Always room for improvement. Good feedback. I wonder where you could post this so that he would get the feedback?

It's similar to listening to an interview of someone. I always appreciate it when the interviewer 'frequently' gives or repeats the name of the person he / she is interviewing (the interviewee). I haven't listened to Jim Rome in a while, but I remember he is good at that.

Sorry. Absolutely love him. He just sounds like the Vikings to me!

Yeah, that guy would be more of a TV man. Definitely not for radio.

My favorite thing about Pete Taylor is how he could go from agitated mumble to screaming ecstasy in under 2 seconds.

Ain't that the truth, was doing some later night driving and caught a Hawk MBB game on radio they dropped in back to back 3s Dolph was sounding like the rout was on, then he mentions the score that 2nd 3 cut it down to 27points with like 3 minutes left. I about crashed my car laughing.

I’m a Viking fan, and Allen is 100% a Viking homer as he should be. He can be pretty obnoxious. I can see how some non-Viking fans don’t like him lol
