49ers - Brock Purdy - Still and Always #1

I'm guessing Brock ends up on the Practice Squad but it will be interesting to see if maybe someone else picks him up instead.
 
Once again, doesn’t mean much, but all the fans in the comments of the 49ers social media wanting Brock.

I think he’d be the sure thing #2 if Sudfield didn’t have guaranteed money.

I am surprised a team like the Browns haven't tried to get Jimmy yet. They are a competent QB away from competing for at least a playoff spot. Jimmy is a lot better than Jacoby Brissett would be for 11 weeks.

Second to last play of game 10 seconds left. Hits open guy right in both hands. Pretty sure Amazon prime games archived right away.

Our wrs/te last year would catch almost every time. I don’t know the receiver but maybe nerves trying to make team.

he hasn't had much help all preseason, really. Think last game receivers had 4 drops.

in addition to the drop in the endzone a WR also dropped a perfectly placed ball on a 3rd down when he ran a slant that would have kept the drive going.

I've been surprised at how many drops there have been in these preseason games. Every game, I've watched, there have been drops all over the place (regardless of team). Is this because the backups aren't very good or is it that they haven't gotten the reps with the QB?
 
Brock's preseason kind of remind me of Matt Thomas's Summer League from a few years back. Maybe not enough to get on a roster, but certainly enough that GMs will take notice. If its not in SF he's put out enough good tape someone will want him.

WR Snead IV 8 years in league. Purdy's throws/pocket presence look sharp overall. Sure wish he could eliminate the running around backwards when he gets pressured. Bad things are going to happen if he continues that.

I guess BP must have gained arm strength since he graduated. Those fast balls he is throwing are just uncatchable.:jimlad:

I’d be happy if the Vikings grabbed him.
