MLB: ***2024 Minnesota Twins***

I’m going increasingly worried about Jeffers bat as well. He can’t hit a bull in the ass with a tambourine.
My initial thought is, "Why would he want to hit a bull in the ass with a tambourine?"

Now my thought is "is there a Youtube video of somebody hitting a bull in the ass with a tambourine?"

Unfortunately, beyond Kirilloff there's not much real help in the minors either. Just get by the Toronto restricted roster fiasco, and get people healthy and off the IL.
Um, there's Jake Cave.

With their current active roster, not many good choices. Right now is basically Larnach or Miranda, Larnach is a wash and Miranda has actually been far better against lefties this year and way better than than Arraez in the minors.

When fully healthy, you trot out a IF of Lewis, Polanco, Correa and Urshela.

Has anyone ever been so quickly validated on message boards as I was by tonight's Twins game?

Lefty starter. Garlicky 2 HR, Miranda 2 HR, righty reliever comes and so does Arraez for 1 run and 1 RBI.

Just being tongue in cheek for a small sample size, but dang.

Since I already had Larnach as an every day player, you're going with Jose Buck69 Miranda over Arraez. I don't understand that, but to each their own.

Also, I'd rather see Royce split time a third and LF when he comes back.
Miranda has been far better against lefties in the minors and this season in the majors.

Never been so happy to be wrong about Miranda tonight with his two homers. Hope it's a sign of things to come. The Twins sure could use another bat.

I’ll take credit for the win tonight. I knew all along we would outslug the Jays and our pen would be lights out.

Especially a bat who crushes lefties. In 29 ABs this year, he has a .954 OPS against lefties, which is similar to his minor league splits the last couple of years.

Duffey did his best to make sure it wouldn't happen. Time to cut bait.
While the pitching staff has been exceptional, Duffey has regressed. Not sure what is going on with him but the Twins really need his high leverage middle man role.
In the meantime, the Twins now have the best hitter in baseball.

Arraez is a damn machine.
