Just got back from Ames BB Game

that was the first time I saw Barnes play! Wow amazing talent but he doesnt do what I would have expected him to. he is lazy and just stands around waiting for someone to come to him. Maybe its because he is young but I didnt think he was amazing in how he played. Coach Mac kid can play I was impressed he has more heart than talent, and those 2 pgs were pretty good I think they were 22 and 12.
All in all barnes will be a player he just needs to act like it all the time he could have scored 40 on Mtown

didnt stay for the end they were up by 20 with 4 to go I had a long long long walk back to my car :sad:
 
For the most part HS basketball in Iowa is boring. I went to the 4-A title game w/ my lil bro and watched LA and Gatens. Not a whole lot of offense or defense.

The lack of a shot clock is my main complaint. It allows team to just stand their and do nothing once they get up by 10 pts.

Hopefully he just left his seat early and stood on the concourse for the last 5 minutes. That way he'd get to see the game but still be one of the first ones to his car! :smile:

Agreed that was my 1st HS game since I grad HS in 00 and the no shot clock thing is terrible

Agreed they are good, maybe lazy isnt the word for it. He just seems lackadasical (dont think I spelled that right) at times, but Ames is good
 
Im a senior at ames high, those guards you talked about are bobu palo a senior who is very under rated, and the short one is micheal weber who plays with alot of heart. All i can say is that hb is amazing he completely dominated. Did you see that ally hoop or that dunk from like 6 ft away. HB can really float in the air. He is going to be one great cyclone(i hope)
