2022 Recruiting/Transfer Class

I totally understand and agree. I'm happy with what he did for our team last year, because we needed that.

Again, I'll I'm saying is that if he didn't play at all this year, that would be best case scenario for our team, this year.

We definitely need to be recruiting over him, and if anyone thinks differently they're delusional.
I believe I broke the news, to this feed, that Hunter was hitting the portal 48ish hours before he did. I get being hesitant on what I'm saying, but I have no reason not to trust my people.

Being a new member to these forums doesn't mean I'm new to ISU, or news regarding ISU.
Thanks CyTwins

I'm not saying he didn't do good things. He played 15+ minutes a night, so he should of done a handful of good thing ga for us. All I'm Saying is if he doesn't play at all that would be ideal for our team.

He can't move his feet laterally, he doesn't protect the rim, he can't dribble, or facilitate, and he definitely can't shoot the ball. Hell he isn't even a great rebounder, because he can't out jump other bigs.

IMO there isn't a scenario where player like that should see the floor at a P5/P6 School. I'm not a D1 athlete, so I'm not trying to bash him. But he was suppose to be a "Banger" someone who roughed up some other bigs, and he rarely did that, especially in conference play.
Y did Condit ever play? He was worse at about every are you mentioned than Jones. Talk about not be able to move feet.

He was a better shot blocker, better finisher (which isn't saying much), and a better passer IMO. Neither were great, but it's what we had.

Conditt was a pretty good finisher, and Jones was very below average. Conditt shot free throws at 70% compared to short of 30% for Rob. Conditt was a better shot blocker, and rebounded about a similar rate. Conditt was second on the team in assist rate. He turned it over a bit more than Rob.

The most common lineups that ISU played were better defensively (I've gone through those lineups and their AdjD ratings) with Conditt than they were with Jones. It wasn't even that close.

Conditt would have been a good big off the bench and I think he was best suited for that role. Jones is a very marginal player at the B12 level. Appreciate his hustle, but Conditt was a much better player by the numbers offensively and what I can find defensively. Conditt had 1.2 OWS and 1.3 DWS compared to 0.1 and 0.9 for Rob comparatively. Conditt 0.4 OBPM and 4.9 DBPM vs. -1.7 and 4.2 for Rob.

I know, I know, Rob was better because you think so. But the numbers don't come close to saying it. One was a decent big off the bench in the B12, and the other is hard to find a player similar in the conference that was actually part of a rotation, let alone starting somewhat frequently.

I'm also hearing it's looking like Holmes, AJG, and Bates are going to be who fills the final 3 schollies.

Since I know some of you really enjoy hearing from me

Bates is the biggest question mark, but he is in town tomorrow I believe.
Hearing any news on Omaha Biliew reclassifying to the '22 class?

I suppose Council is looking at blue bloods?

A lot of betting on upside scenario with AJG being next to backcourt guards of Williams, Holmes, Gabe, and Grill. We could squeeze in another guard/wing and add AJG as 14 if he decides late to return.

Bates is an intriguing prospect, when healthy, but give me three perimeter players over having 4-5 forwards, 3 of which have been limited on offense, the other at EKU.
