Can his dad increase his allowance?
Give him NIL money for appearances at the dinner table.
Try Duck Duck Go to cut down on the obtrusiveness of adds. I quit CF for better than a year because of how bad the adds got.I must be the only one getting ads that cover 40% of my phone screen.
Yea but Scheyer's spreadsheet with the $$$ numbers is still alive and well.Coach K is gone.
AJ is an outstanding student. A degree from Duke is hard to resist.Yea but Scheyer's spreadsheet with the $$$ numbers is still alive and well.
He’s a great student and a high level basketball player. He’ll have no issue getting into Duke masters programs later. There’s zero cost in that regard.AJ is an outstanding student. A degree from Duke is hard to resist.
Yes, if they really want him I imagine he could get mega dollars from Duke - and most likely nothing, or very little, above normal athletic benefits from ISU.
That said, I hope that family connections and a great chance to display his skills bring him to Ames. I am still optimistic.
Dukes brand exceeds Coach K. His departure means very little. His retirement has been known all year and the still have the #1 class in America. 4 5 star kids.
You'd think that, but there are countless examples of guys going to blue bloods where its clear to most fans their minutes will be sparse but they go anyways. Yesefu is a perfect example.I'd be surprised if Duke was factor. AJ wants to play, and not worry about watching some 5 star kid take his minutes.
TouchéWhy is that hard to understand? You seem to spell out the NCAA rules pretty clearly there. If you are a blue blood the rules are different. The NCAA has always been consistent about that.
I wouldn’t say Yesufu is a “perfect example”. He will be a junior. If Green decides to play college basketball next year, it’s his last year. You'd think that, but there are countless examples of guys going to blue bloods where its clear to most fans their minutes will be sparse but they go anyways. Yesefu is a perfect example.
Hate to say it, but first or second guy off the bench at Duke will get tons more exposure than a 40 minute per game guy at ISU.
Tons? How do you figure? Big12 is on every week too. For the most part, we and Big12 games were on TV just as much as Duke. Duke was on ACC network and maybe network channels for high profile games plus those w/NCar , but I thought we were on just as much. (of course many on ESPN+).Hate to say it, but first or second guy off the bench at Duke will get tons more exposure than a 40 minute per game guy at ISU.
Duke is on the Champions Classic at the start of the season and in every major non-conference matchup against other bluebloods. tThe tons of love they get from ESPN is unreal. Not even close.Tons? 'Be the star' is key.Get to the NCAA with Iowa State of the Big 12. Be the star. Have a few great games in the Tourney. First round pick maybe.
