My third hand understanding is that, if you’re outside of Salt Lake City, being a non-Morman in Utah can be a lot like being a Caucasian living in non-tourist Hawaii. Per Wikipedia, 78% of residents identity as religious, and 63.4% are LDS. But you’re a 2 hour drive from Vegas, so there’s that.

Lived in SLC for a while, the culture counter culture war got old for us. Beautiful State though and tons of outdoor rec.
