The Fran fade

Iowa, like us, is a solid basketball team. They, like us, shouldn’t be ranked. It’s all moot because both teams will be in the tournament and similarly seeded. Just frustrating to watch a team be rewarded for beating up on really poor teams.
Who would you have 25th? Do you have a sleeper team before brackets come out?

Agree on both points. Come selection Sunday, if seasons end as predicted, I think ISU ends up #7/#8 and Iowa ends up #8/#10. That is ISU going 2-2 and 1-1 (21-12). Iowa going 3-2 and 1-1 (22-11).
Which teams you beat DO matter.

No, I think all of those teams would be pretty similar. But if you win the first round, I would much rather face a #2 or #3 than a #1 seed.
So you would rather lose to the 2 or 3 rather than the 1? Fran doesn't go second weekend, so you might as well look for the easiest path to the second round loss that you can get.

I love that Barta is wetting himself over another Fran extension....gotta love a 12 year coach who can't get past the first round of the NCAA tournament.

Iowa opens as a 7 point favorite over Michigan State tomorrow?! I'm tempted to put a lot on MSU. I think they win outright honestly

Go thru MSU's sched. They've beaten one tourney team, and close to bubble at that (Indiana), in the last month. Last good win was exactly a month ago @ Sconnie.

I get they aren't playing well but you shorten good wins to a month and a lot of teams won't have many. That line stinks. I figured it would be Iowa -2.5 and I was ready to complain about that

Are you saying Haliburton and McCafe no-fat are equal level players??? I think you may be drunk.

No,

Look at your original question to my original post: "How about getting McCafe and McCafe no-fat type players?"

My reply was pretty clear. I have no issue with THIN players and I used Halliburton as an example of a THIN player that played at ISU. Guys like Morris, Garrett & Clyburn were also pretty slender.
