How can we complete with this?

Wouldn't having a bidding war for inventory of a product that the Big XII has be a good thing?
I expect the Big 12 to get a lowball offer from ESPN and I fear we don’t have any better options. Big 10 teams will make 66.7 million per school. How much will the Big 12 teams make with their new deal? 10-15 million? That depends on whether or not the bidders consider that our product and the B1G product are indeed the same product.
My first thought was with stupid money on the table why not add a solid regional university to the western division. It's funny how perspective goes. I read that and my first thought was "Poor Pac12. They're f***ed."
FIFYJust need a few more Texas schools in the Big 12 then we'll be rolling in the dough

These obstacles are only going to grow with new tv deals and NIL.Has ISU EVER had things fair? No, we've always had to overcome obstacles others don't have to.
And, to be fair, that the Big XII ends up with 2 or more bidders for their product. That depends on whether or not the bidders consider that our product and the B1G product are indeed the same product.
As the economy slows and inflation climbs remember 1 billion is really 900 million with 10% inflation. That aside, the smart move in a down economy is to spread your dollars per viewing streaming audience. Not risk growing an audience to match exorbitant bids. I believe when push comes to shove, things will balance out a bit more.I expect the Big 12 to get a lowball offer from ESPN and I fear we don’t have any better options. Correct. The system isn't fair, has never been fair, and isn't intended to be fair.Has ISU EVER had things fair? No, we've always had to overcome obstacles others don't have to.
