Indiana is a strange team this year. For the most part really good at home and crap on the road.
Yes, 2-5 looks a heck of a lot better for Iowa than 0-5 vs. Quad 1. I don't think they are going to get too many with the rest of the schedule - MSU at home, @ Michigan and @ Illinois seem like some opportunities for them. If Iowa gets one of those and Indiana and USU can hang in quad 1 Iowa will be in good shape. Drop all three, and it could get dicey, as Indiana and USU are barely hanging on as Quad 1 wins for them.

Yeah barring getting smoked by some of these teams, Iowa state only needs to win 4 games to be a lock for the Dance.
Iowa has to take care of business against the bad teams, fight like hell to pickup another Q1 win because the Indiana and Utah State ones are likely to fluctuate.
He always gets talent but never puts it together. Think Turgeon would be a candidate? Devries?
I would say this is almost a certainty. The positive for ISU is that there will be no bad losses on the resume. None. That's huge. The downside is that after the TCU game it's clear that there are no easy wins for this team. It would also be nice if Creighton can hang on in Q1.
No matter what happens the rest of the way, ISU is going to have no bad losses and will have a good number of Q1 wins.
After KU, which I think is a coin flip, ISU should win their other 4 homes games. Should.
Turgeon to me seems like a slam dunk at KState. Time to cut ties with Bruce.
Yep, both of those teams are one slot into Q1. Utah St has 3 Q1 games left but all on the road so likely they may drop back into a Q2 for Iowa if they lose all three of those. Indiana is pretty precarious as they have Ohio St, Purdue, & Mich St on the road and Illinois and Wiscy at home.
He's a power 5 capable player though. No more sitting out too. Darian seems satisfied for now though
I think it's unlikely especially Indiana remaining a quad 1 win. Home vs. Michigan and Michigan State are the biggest games remainning
I think about the carousel a lot.
I've penciled in Larranaga retiring at Miami, Anthony Grant replacing him, and Mack replacing Grant at Dayton.
Looking at the schedule I think the Hawks need 6 more wins.....maybe 1 in the BTT to be safe...
Taking care of business tonight would be a nice start.
4 what I think should be damn near 100% wins: sweep Hoiball, Minny and NW at home. Just got to get a couple more.
ACC is terrible this year, so should be available spots.
Chris Mack should be a decent commodity. Can't imagine he'll be sitting that long.
I agree. Must win tonight I feel. I think tonight's game will be a lot closer than most Iowa fans want.
