What is everyone's favorite recipe for making a beef brisket in a crock pot?

Sorry, I don't have a smoker. Looking for the best way to keep it from drying out!
Low bake in an oven then. Place it on a rack at a low temp (225 degrees) and place a pan of water maybe mix some apple vinegar into it to keep humidity in it.

If you have to use a crock pot (use a roaster instead and make sure to be adding water between the heating element and the drop in pan) — not sure if you can do this with crockpots. Probably rub with liquid smoke to give it a possible smoked flavor (never used the stuff).

Also. Every hour, spray it with a mixture of water and apple vinegar lightly to keep it moist.

take the internal temp up to 195 degrees.

Put it roaster and put it in the oven. Going to be the best way to break down the the fat along the point and flat area.

I’ll give you serious answer. But know I’m providing it despite my desire to be sarcastic and unhelpful.

Assuming it’s just a flat to fit in a crock pot… Leave a reasonable amount of fat on it. season it with salt and pepper. Add a few cups of beef broth. Just monitor it, make sure your liquid doesn’t dry up. If you need to add more broth later do so. Cook to internal of 200. Probably will take 5-7 hours?

Smoked meat is about the worst thing you can possibly eat. Might as well just eat straight ashes, you'll get the same amount of cancer causing carcinogens.
