Excited to see what the young guys can do next year

I’m excited as well for next season to start.

I will be a LOT more excited if Manning is gone and we get a new OC and OL coach….. won’t happen though.

If I knew the OL would be much improved next year, and Manning was gone…. I’d be drooling over the potential.

I don’t think Manning will be gone, but changes need to be made to the OL coaching. I hope Campbell brings in a new OL coach.

Dekkers is going to be key with all the skill we lose on offense and our inability to be consistent on that side of the ball.

The key is going to be the offensive line. They have no choice but to FINALLY get it right next season.

This is the entire key IMO. I’m really not that worried about anything else honestly.

Maybe the DL and LBs have me a little concerned.

I said Noel on offense, but honestly this is the right answer. Not sure anything else will matter much if Dekkers doesn't get a clean pocket very often and Brock/Silas/Sanders/Norton are asked to create their own yards all but a few carries a game.

I’m in the, I’ll believe it when I see it mode. I was hoping to be dynamic on offense with the hype the O-line was getting in the off-season. Along with Charlie, Chase, X, and Breece coming back this past year. I hope we run more read options, along with an ability to throw the ball deep. I just don’t know if we have the ability to scheme it and block it. Silas will be fun to watch though, get him in space and he is gone.

Please tell me I'm correct when I say that Dekkers has a few things going for him that Brock did not. Height, to throw OVER the D, the capability to "flick" a 20 yard pass and put touch on a 30 yard pass (not needing a heave to get it there, and the ability (If allowed) to sneak the freekin' ball.

Brock did some great work here, don't get me wrong. But, he did not have the strength and size that Dekkers seems to have. He needed a great back, very good execution (which he did sometimes) and guys that could catch shorter passes over the middle (then get hit immediately) consistently to be effective. I hated the fact that teams could more or less place 9 guys within 8 yards of Purdy and feel pretty comfortable most of the time.

It seems Dekkers could stretch the field a little more effectively and I think he has at least 2 guys that he could pass to next year.

Please tell me I'm not crazy thinking this could be true.

AND if we have ANY TEs that can be 1/2 the threat of recent guys, that could be dangerous.

Easton Dean is going to be good. Real good.
