NFL: Kansas City Chiefs Thread

Chiefs really need to look at a bigger back in the draft this year, would love to see Hall end up there in the 2nd round. CEH just does not have the size to run between the tackles and make good gains over and over. When was the last time a Chief's back took a long run to the house?

I imagine Kareem hunt who was last good back they've had. Hall would be an excellent pick but I think they would be too proud to take an early pick on a back while CEH is still on his rookie deal

I am not saying release the kid, he is still young, but without a doubt he has underperformed in his two seasons in the league. Longest run this year has been 17 yards, with basically 1300 yards rushing in 2 seasons. ESPN is saying it's his shoulder not his collar bone, but he is questionable for the game next week.

I don't think the Hunt (Chiefs ownership) family want anything to do with Kareem Hunt.

I wouldn't be suprised to see the Cowboys take offers for Zeke.

Zeke is on the wrong side of the age scale for a running back and has a ton of miles on his legs. A team would be silly to pay him what he wants to sign for.

The days of paying big contracts for running backs are over, it's better to use that money to sign a quality QB, and then spend it on defense, rather than tying up major bucks for any back approaching or over 30.

Chiefs should have taken the kid from Wisconsin that went to the Colts, just an all-around better back, but hindsight is always 20/20.

I don't mean for the Chiefs to sign him, I just think the Cowboys may look at trading him. He still has some years on his contract I think.
Chiefs OLine is pretty solid.

Looking at his contract, I am not sure that the Cowboys would be able to trade him until after the 2022 season because of the cap hit, and it runs through age 31. Zeke is not as old as I thought he was, only 26 this season, but a lot of wear and tear on his body.

The Chiefs just dismantled a 7-7 Steelers team with multiple back-ups. I don't think that it makes any difference at all who the RB is in KC at this point. It has become such a disposable position in the league that I don't see Veach using many picks on a RB ever again. Williams is undrafted out of LSU and he fills the role. Teams like the Bears waste picks on running backs and look at the difference between the Bears and Chiefs.

Lol, Elliott isn't anywhere close to 30.

Quite frankly the CEH pick was a waste. Would have been much better spent on OL or DL. Still shocked they did it.
