This is so dumb. How did we go an entire season without basically any covid interruptions but now the post-season is being affected? Listen I get the Omicron variant spreads very easily, but if athletes are fully vaccinated, why are they being tested? I swear if our game gets cancelled, I'm gonna riot
"It is unfortunate, but we just don't have enough scholarship players available to field a team," Texas A&M coach Jimbo Fisher said.
The game is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 31 in Jacksonville, Florida.
Yeah it's a little silly, especially since omicron won't get you as gravely ill as previous variants, so they say.
SMH. I wonder why we have an issue in this country?if athletes are fully vaccinated, why are they being tested?
My opinion is if you sign on the line that you'll play, then you play. Typical SEC BS.From the ESPN article:
They just aren't trying hard enough. They have a week and a half before the game and are pulling out now. My guess is they don't want to play, while having key players who are opting out of the game and are afraid to lose.
Also, key word is Scholarship Players. Again, I think they are just afraid to play Wake.

Should they play with mild symptoms?
