Wow, this is a new one; someone complaining that too many games are on regular channels rather than on ESPN+.I just did a look. I have espn+ now. Of the remaining schedule, 11 games are non-espn+ (mostly espn U/2) which I do NOT get; only 6 are on espn+.
Boy getting my money's worth!
My fall-back is watching delay on cyclones.tv.

I'm not disparaging you, it is just a switch from what I generally see on here.Well...OK...
Since we don't get 'regular' channels, whatever that is. There is life outside the city, or standard cable/internet. Just sayin.
No man. I know. It's cool. For many years we in the countryside had a damn near impossible job of trying to get good internet. It was often very frustrating.I'm not disparaging you, it is just a switch from what I generally see on here.
And regular channels would be ones that are on a service (cable, satellite, OTA) rather than streaming. I had satellite for quite a few years. I didn't need access to cable or an internet provider to get it.

Yeah Youtube tv seems pretty good, a little more per month than what I want. It's all good. I just learned today that YouTubeTV has not caught onto my Cyclone basketball habit, probably because so many of our games have been on the +.
I'm still going to see this thrashing, but it takes more effort, I guess.
How quickly are they up on cyclones.tv? I may have to dust off my login.I just did a look. I have espn+ now. Of the remaining schedule, 11 games are non-espn+ (mostly espn U/2) which I do NOT get; only 6 are on espn+.

According to that same question I asked cyclone.tv during this past football season, cyclone.tv must wait 3 days for football replays. For some reason all other ISU sports including BB, only have to wait 2 days before up on replay. Sometimes they don't get the replay up however. How quickly are they up on cyclones.tv? I may have to dust off my login.
I agree about espn+. I don’t get why it doesn’t get you streaming access to all ESPN content.
This defense is suffocating I’m soldLet me start off by saying I love this team and think it’ll continue throughout the season. I feel Brockington=Kane!
Honestly who else feels like this team is legit?
This. Most teams don't go more than 9 deep in their normal rotation, so I think that concern is overblown.A couple things that I think have already been mentioned. Getting run down is a valid concern but I'm not as worried.....
TJ seems like a smart guy and realizes how much effort they are putting out. He'll adjust accordingly if he sees signs they are wearing down.
9 guys getting significant minutes is actually a pretty deep rotation. You've already seen games where Grill and Jackson get more minutes than Gabe and Brockington, I think that's by design to keep them fresh.
We essentially have a 3 week break now before Baylor, we can afford to mange minutes the rest of December and still lay a beatdown on these 3 teams.
Our defense isn't West Virignia where we full court press all 40 minutes and run around fouling all night. We pick them up in the frontcourt and then play sound, under control defense. Yeah, we put out alot of effort but it's nothing like a West Virginia or even what Iowa was doing last night. It looked to me like they were wearing down even going 11 deep because essentially they didn't even break into our lead when full court pressing.
All the above points are why this is certainly sustainable.
I noticed it last night, that our players were always on the dominate hand side of the EIU guards and forcing them to go to their weak side, when they tried to run their offense. Its JR high level coaching, but damn it works, forcing the opponent to do something they do not want to do, and then watch them get frustrated and start forcing up shots and getting them to press to score.Rewatching the game only because I want another look at this defense. Defense overplays the ball so well. I mean…it’s grade school stuff (figure out the dominant hand if the guy you’re guarding, then make him go the other way), but so effective. It becomes more nuanced after that with the help and rotations, but the ball pressure gets it all started.
