Sure, why not? I wouldn't care if Purdy said it was Iowa's superbowl tomorrow. Just don't use it as an excuse for why you lost. Pretty sure Goodsay didn't say they were going to lose to ISU because it is their Superbowl.
It's Iowa's Super Bowl but I think we still beat them. Does that make me a loser?
Claiming that Iowa has won the last 5 matchups because it is their Super bowl makes you a loser.
Not sure I'm ready to predict a score or winner. I will say this:
I am betting the over (46 currently)
I predict Goodson will show out due to early-season sloppy tackling form by the Cyclones (saw it on a few broken plays last week v.s. UNI)
I predict Kolar plays and will have 80+ yards and 2 TD

I wouldn't want my starting RB saying "this is the most important game for them" about any team that we play. It just sounds dumb lol. Especially when he hasn't done jack s*** yet.
Kolar is the X factor I believe. He makes all the difference for ISU's offense. He will be a huge factor.
I think it's Brock. If Brock has a good game (although I agree Kolar does have a large effect on that), we will win the game.

My predictions:
- LaPorta and Kolar lead both teams in receptions
- Rose leads the game in tackles
- Purdy is efficient, but struggles to find endzone
- McDonald has at least one sack
McDonald coming off the edge is the big concern for me, he's a fast, freakish athlete and our Ts are good but pretty green.
I believe we're talking just the past two. Or at least I was. Since Nate Stanley has been QB, Iowa's truly been a playmaker behind the center from being an elite team overall.
