Metallic red goes better with white unis, matte red goes will with red unis.
I would prefer a satin finish, like Minnesota’s helmets. I think the satin finish more consistently matches the fabric colors in different lighting.

I would maybe change the stripe to add a gold trim. Or gold inside, red trim.
I think it comes down to how the logo has like a 3D font print. Another example of how I think it could look better is how our own athletics twitter has it with the 2D stencil font:

Yellow/Gold isn't happening anytime soon, if ever, under Campbell.
G/C/G is only new version there that has a chance, and it's still pretty ugly. Those colors on top of each other just don't work well. White needs to be incorporated, or we have to soften the yellow into something closer to the gold we used in the '70s (the best one).
I don't think it's bad. If we had never went away with it, that mock up would be a great version.
Since we've phased out yellow for a while it looks a little out of place though.
Yeah, I don't think we've had the right gold for a long time. Even the 90s jerseys with a more traditional red and a softer yellow/gold look better than the mockup above. It's too harsh in my opinion. We have unique colors. It would be cool if we could get it right.
Fun fact: gold isn't happening because Campbell must be superstitious. Lost a super important game at Toledo when they wore a bunch of yellow so now he's against it.
IMO: the next "new" jersey we see is white with black lettering.

I like the G-C-G among those but none of the other 3 -- although as mentioned, with deeper gold (less school-bus-ish).
Edit: Also might be better w/ cardinal face mask for the G-C-G - would like to see that.
