Basically an inmate claims that another inmate admitted to being involved in the Mollie Tibbets murder while staying at a sex traficking house. Authorites admit that he did stay there so at least that part is true.
The owner of that house was apparently in a relationship with Xavior Harrelson's mom.

I'm trying to wrap my mind around this paragraph:
"Cristhian Bahena Rivera’s defense team said it has found at least 10 children missing from Poweshiek County or adjoining counties from the past few years, including the Xavior Harrelson case."
How is this not a huge story? What the actual ****? This is the kind of stuff you see in movies, but don't believe would ever happen in real life.

Or this is a bull **** last ditch effort by a defense team. What these ‘10 cases’ involve needs a lot of context before making any conclusions.
read the article, it says the prosecution knew about what the inmates said and withheld it from the defense. The 10 missing people stuff is just icing on the cake to what the inmates said.
I hope it's all bullcrap. This is nightmarish stuff if it's true.
So how do they explain him on security camera following her in his car or her blood being inside his trunk?
I have no idea if any of this has legs. I would suggest waiting until the state has filed a response brief before making any conclusions on the veracity of the allegations of the defense team.
Their claim during the trial was that he was forced by some others into his car and they forced him to kidnap her but ultimately they were the ones who killed her and had him dump her.
No, just a probably connection between his mother and the owner of a house involved in a sex trafficking ring.
It’s worth noting the inmate’s story that she was seen in a ‘trap house’ where she was raped and murdered does not match Rivera’s testimony at all.
The withholding is not accurate. An earlier article stated the prosecutor passed the info to the defense upon receiving it but they had already concluded closing arguments so the trial proceeded
The inmate stated he saw her at a trap house. Rivera testified that they found her running, killer her and then dumper her right after.
How would he have known for sure what happened to her before they killed her?
