Missing Montezuma Boy

He was last seen three days before his birthday. It obviously could be something random, but that feels like a notable coincidence.

It seems like either someone that knows him or maybe some predator that manipulated him.

There have been several attempted abductions reported over the last few weeks in eastern and NE Iowa so one can't but think if it is related. That being said I think you usually need to take those with a grain of salt.

No Amber Alert for this case, particularly in light of the one from a couple nights ago that seems poorly executed, struck me as odd. I suppose nobody saw him get taken, but still.
 
This is a weird one. I think a neighbor called in the welfare check. Sounds like the Mom is disabled and he acted as a caretaker. Another neighbor reported that him and his mom would yell at each other often.

They don’t do Amber Alerts when the child doesn’t get reported missing for over a day.

This one I have suspicion that it’s the mother and boyfriend that did something. Mother didn’t even report him missing, the neighbor did over a day later. Also heard the mom was posting happy pics with the boyfriend like the day after her son was reported missing. That might mean nothing, but seems strange.

That's what I've been thinking. Haven't heard anything from her either.
 
The lack of information on this one was weird. It’s was just “missing kid, wearing blue” and that’s it. Makes me think there has been an investigation looking at people that know the kid since he was reported missing.
 
Got an amber alert a couple days. It stated it could be a gray such and such car. Would hate to be a dude driving a could be gray such and such car and not be them. No plate number and just a guess on the vehicle.
 
My wife asked if my 11 year old was old enough to fish by himself at the neighbor’s pond this summer. I said yes until this happened.

Crazy that they haven’t found any evidence yet but the tibbet’s case was like that too.

Quite possibly the most vague amber alert text ever. I was at a cook out and we all looked at our phones like wtf.

Sorry to say, but this one is not going to end well, he has been missing to long to just show up.

Lots of crazy people out there these days, even in small towns.

That we know of. As was the case with Tibbets, law enforcement almost certainly has more information than they are releasing.

It ended up being the wrong make/model in the amber alert too.

Not only that, they revised the time of abduction from around 30 minutes prior to the Amber Alert to five and a half hours. Kind of a big revision.

And ultimately they ruled it wasn't an abduction at all. Just a real whiff on this one.

Did they? From what I saw and based on the names, I assumed parental kidnapping.

It was the parents, and they initially thought it was a kidnapping, but determined it wasn't. The news story is a little vague on the details.

A potential bombshell as well as maybe some potential reaching today by the Bahena Rivera defense. Basically an inmate claims that another inmate admitted to being involved in the Mollie Tibbets murder while staying at a sex traficking house. Authorites admit that he did stay there so at least that part is true.

The owner of that house was apparently in a relationship with Xavior Harrelson's mom.
