The Fran fade

He had a mysterious injury.
you can get be disqualified from the army for having flat feet, NBA has the same rule for lead feet I guess. I joke but I do wish them both well, I don't agree with their choice of schools but both seemed cool and were not arrogant douches and Garza was a hell of a college player.

Scouting Garza was/is easy, I watch you run and don't take another look.

I like Joe W quite a bit. If he can gain a little, just a little alpha to his game and not disappear, he can stick in the NBA.
With the pace and the shorter shot clock, he's going to have to be ready.

Garza on the other hand may not, seems odd as college POY you don't get drafted but as people already knew he is slow and doesn't jump well, but maybe someone takes a chance on him late
In the modern era has there ever been a NPOY not get drafted in the first round? Second round? I haven’t watched much basketball the last couple years. Is college basketball that down?

Joe has NBA athleticism, size and length plus he's a great shooter, that will get him in the door. If he can be an average defender, he'll stick around.

Garza would be in a much better shot to make the league had he gone the G league route last year. He was amazing last year but he didn't answer any of the questions that the NBA scouts needed answered. Not to mention an early bounce from the tourney killed a shot he had at the spot light a run would have gotten him.

He had plenty of spotlight all season. Oregon exposed the weaknesses of his game in an ass kicking on National tv.

My prediction is Wieskamp gets drafted and Garza does not. Garza should have taken his 7 figure shoe deal last year

I can see Garza getting drafted. If not, he should make a roster. There's always room in the league for a 6'11" guy who can shoot from the outside.

He probably should be transferring to another school instead of staying in the draft, but we shall see? Maybe some team will take a shot and draft him?

Wieskamp has nothing to gain in college at this point. Maybe he'll stick in the NBA (he just needs to prove he can play average defense to do that, IMO), maybe not. But he's not going to improve his game with another year in school, he's graduated and is engaged, so he might as well get paid, whether it's in the NBA or overseas.

It was Iowa's backcourt that couldn't contain Oregon's guards, off the dribble or on the perimeter, and they didn't do anything offensively, either (save for Wieskamp).

Refresh my memory. He said it's been an amazing 3 years. Did he transfer in?
