Yeah I can get on board with that, however usually that comes with seeing an unverified account say something right? Like, I too thought the DJK story was wild, but Rob posted a story straight from the main source. It wasn’t some ex-player who said DJK told him this or that, Rob was literally quoting DJK.

And correct me if I’m wrong, but Rob reached out for Iowa to comment on this prior to posting right? And they basically told them “no comment”?

Nearly all of the story was fabricated though. As a writer he shouldn’t have taken more steps and found other sources that might have confirmed his claims? Several former players that tweeted about Rob’s story ended up deleting their tweets when they found out how untrue it was.
